How does it work? Click here for answer
Speedwatch checks its database of fixed cameras for relevant alerts on your journey. Live alerts are updated to your phone within seconds of being reported by other users once the data has been verified using our unique data integrity checking processes. Unlike other systems we do not solely rely on other users to report new live mobile sites - we also add reports of future planned mobile enforcement locations we receive from official agencies into the database so you also benefit from our huge ongoing research activity. Check out our simple flow chart to see how it works
Does the subscription include network data transfer costs? Click here for answer
No. Your network will charge you according to your data plan for any data used over the mobile network unless it is downloaded via wifi if your phone has this feature.
Do all user reports get issued to other users? Click here for answer
No – we check all user reports against our extensive historic database of reported live sites in order to grade the quality of all reports. The “Risk” dial on the App increases as more users report a site and if it matches previously reported or officially reported enforcement at the site. Speedwatch will automatically ignore and exclude system abusers to maintain data integrity for other users.
